My Approach
Career Development Background
Beyond the fact that I have spent 25+ years in the industry with a keen sense of the importance of building my network, which is nearly 7,000 strong on LinkedIn, I also have a background in Career Development and Golf Industry Job Placement.
In early 2017, while working at the Golf Academy of America’s Orlando campus, and on through to the schools closing due to the parent company, Education Corporation of America going bankrupt in December of 2018, I was also the Director of Career Services. I ended my tenure in that role as the number 1 Director of Career Services, among all of ECA’s 70+ Career Colleges, in terms of Job Placement. I made it my mission years ago to become a great networker so that I could be able to connect people with each other. That served me well in that role. It was a shame it had to end.

Why do I care?
Why do I care? That’s easy…because others cared for me and wanted to see me succeed. Not just during my influential years as a teenager, but also into adulthood and as I was getting my PGA career going. When you have those influences on you yourself, as you are coming up, it is much easier to have the desire to do the same when you have that opportunity. That is where I am at now in my life…wanting to see others, particularly young people, be successful long term.
